David is a professional engineer and advocate for promoting resilience within the Trust.

With a strong link to Yorkshire, David's commitment to fostering resilience aligns perfectly with the Trust’s mission of generating social mobility and improving the life chances of children and young people through providing excellent educational experiences.

Born in Yorkshire and educated in Leeds, David understands the local community and its unique challenges. He brings this connection to his role as a Trustee, allowing him to effectively address the needs of students and staff within the Trust’s Academies.

Through his expertise in engineering, he actively promotes resilience through his independent consultancy, specialising in risk management solutions. By developing robust and resilient strategies across energy and strategic infrastructure, David helps organisations navigate potential disruptions and challenges.

David had a dedication to ensure that students are prepared for a rapidly changing world. His advocacy for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, combined with an appreciation for the innovative and creative solutions that arts subjects bring, enriches the educational experience within the Trust.
